Megan Klein

Klein is a CPG executive experienced in CPG brand building, product innovation and manufacturing. Through Institutional Cannabis Consultants, Klein seeks to engage in selective, project-based work to bring new cannabis brands to market and help existing brands scale. While Klein brings deep management experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing, and fundraising, she approaches every project with an entrepreneurial mindset, seeking to maximize resources and opportunities for her clients. 

Klein is the founder of Little Saints, a brand of plant-based, fast-acting THC gummies and beverages set to launch in Michigan in the fall of 2020. Prior to founding Little Saints, Klein established herself as a formidable entrepreneur in the natural foods space as the founder of Field + Farmer, a national brand of plant-based dips and dressings, and the first to bring local ingredients to packaged products at scale. Prior to Field + Farmer, Klein was President of FarmedHere, the one-time largest vertical farm in the United States. In addition to her business management experience, Klein is an attorney licensed to practice in Illinois, with specific focus on contract negotiations, employment and intellectual property matters. 

Passionate about empowering fellow entrepreneurs, Klein is a startup coach at The Hatchery, a food and beverage incubator supporting entrepreneurs on Chicago’s West side. In addition, Klein serves on the boards of MJ Unpacked, Naturally Chicago, Tomen Botanicals, and The Fresh Factory. She was named to the 2019 Top Women in Grocery (Senior Level Executives) by Progressive Grocer in 2019 and one of the 2018 “10 Most Influential Women in Chicago [in food]” by Chicago Woman Magazine

Klein is currently pursuing her executive MBA at Kellogg School of Management, with a concentration in marketing and strategy. Klein received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2006 and her B.A. from Boston College in 2001.
